This is a blog ive wanted to write for a long time, so here i go. Ive always been intrested by "Buskers" on the streets and ive got some great storys and things ive seen. If you think about it
they have been around since the middle ages and Robin hood Times . You would fine "lute players" playing on the streets of villages and people gathering around to listen to them play. It still carried the poverty level of those days, altough these days its from all kinds of musical backgounds. Its an art form. I was doing some reaserch a few weeks back and there used to be blind "Hurdy Gurdy" men buskers on the streets entertaining the children on the streets, and if you dont know what an hurdy gurdy well its a music instrument which you wind up and it plays the tune and you control it by a leaver, exahusted yet. I ve seen some intresting buskers and its not all music but i saw a guy on an"London Underground" when i was coming from a gig at "Soho" and there is this guy who invented a singing dyson cleaner and its programmed by using "Cubase" and he sings with it and plays the guitar. I thought it was amazing and so funny to see, it was great to speak to him and it turns hes got a license from the "London Transport service" ( Hes been on TV) to do this, so it shows you it is happening and i believe its now a plan to make this a permentant fixture by having music in all undergrounds in London to make people feel relaxed when heading for the train, so im pleased to hear that. There is also the sad note can we get people of the streets and make them into true buskers and instead of them begging for money but help them have goals and play to people on the streets, becasue music can be a true soulful thing to have in your life, there is programes doing this and in Glasgow so its good to know. I do stop and listen to buskers and i do give them change i wish people would more, five minutes thats all it would take. All the famous muscians have all done it, Paul mc cartney, Rod Stewart, Goerge Micheal etc. Buskers can be anything from comics, human statues, poertry even ive seen, thats a good one.

"The Story So Far"
Suspire are from Glasgow, Scotland. They combine elements of seemingly an endless array of influences; layering sound with exciting hooks and uplifting harmonies; making their own brand of modern-rock with melodic sensibilities. Their music has united them with the indie film world, writing for Glasgow film director, Mark Moore. The 'ALL THAT REMAINS' EP is the first self-release from the band, available from independent record stores in and around Glasgow. Fresh tracks are always in the making. The band have been supported in The Herald by Michael MacLennan, receiving a ‘Recommended’ in the Going Out Guide; received praise from Vic Galloway from BBC Radio 1 after performing for him in Edinburgh, and have ongoing support from other industry bodies, including Jim Gellately of XFM Scotland.
